Status: Varies depending on the campaign Warren Fuller is an American Commander of the Allied Forces during the Third World War. An experienced Soldier and leader, he has forged a reputation through numerous clashes with the Soviet Union thanks to his training, determination and exceptional resilience in combat.

Fuller perfectly embodies the image of the tough American soldier. He prefers action to lengthy discussions, displays an almost defiant confidence in the face of his adversaries, and regards the defence of the free world as a personal responsibility.

He is described as a natural fighter and leader, ready to defend the Allies’ freedoms until his last breath. His strength and tenacity place him amongst the most formidable field commanders of the conflict, alongside figures such as Oleg Vodnik, Nikolai Moskvin and Shinzo Nagama.

In the Allied campaign of Red Alert 3, Warren becomes one of the key allies of the Allied Commander, played by the player.

He steps in, in particular, when several European leaders are captured by the Soviets in Cannes, France. Robert Bingham then sends the Allied Commander and Warren Fuller to liberate the city.

The operation also receives support from Tanya Adams, who infiltrates the harbour and helps to neutralise the Soviet naval defences.

Fuller then engages directly with the forces of the Soviet Commander Nikolai Moskvin. However, his offensive is halted by the Dreadnought battleships off the coast of Cannes.

The Allied Commander eliminates the Soviet ships, allowing Warren to resume his advance. Their combined forces ultimately destroy Moskvin’s forces and liberate Cannes, contributing to the Allied recapture of France.

This battle established a relationship of trust between Warren and the Commander. Unlike some of the more competitive Allied Officers, Fuller quickly came to appreciate his new partner and recognised his military qualities.

Against Howard T. Ackerman

Warren subsequently played a particularly important role when the US President Howard T. Ackerman turned against the strategy of the Allied High Command.

Ackerman rejected the temporary alliance formed with the Soviets against the Empire of the Rising Sun and secretly prepared a colossal weapon installed at Mount Rushmore.

When it became clear that the President was prepared to use this weapon, Warren was stunned by his behaviour. He acknowledges that Ackerman had always been particularly tense and aggressive, but that he had not imagined him capable of going that far.

Fuller is then given a mission that is extremely unusual for an American officer: to fight forces loyal to his own president.

Together with the Allied Commander and Tanya, he takes part in the assault on the Mount Rushmore complex to prevent Ackerman from using his weapon. The operation ends with the destruction of the device and the death of the President.

This episode clearly illustrates one of Warren’s defining characteristics: despite his particularly outward display of patriotism, his loyalty lies first and foremost with the Allied Forces and the defence of the free world, rather than blindly with any single political leader.

The final assault on Cherdenko

Fuller rejoins the Allied Commander during the final offensive against the Soviet Union.

Following the revelation of Cherdenko’s temporal manipulations and the failure of his attack on Allied cities, the high command discovers that the Soviet Premier and General Krukov have barricaded themselves in Leningrad.

Cherdenko has transformed the Peter and Paul Fortress into a launch complex and is preparing a shuttle to flee into space.

Robert Bingham entrusts the final assault to his two best commanders: the Allied Commander and Warren Fuller.

The Allied Forces must destroy the Iron Curtain defences protecting the complex, engage the remaining Soviet forces and prevent Cherdenko’s shuttle from taking off.

The operation is a success.

The fortress falls and Cherdenko and Krukov are captured, bringing the war against the Soviet Union in the Allied campaign to a definitive end.

After the victory, Warren personally congratulates the Allied Commander. He regards him as the finest Officer he has ever served with and as a true hero of the Allied Forces.

In this timeline, Warren Fuller therefore survives the Third World War.

Soviet Campaign

As with many commanders in Red Alert 3, his story takes a completely different turn in the Soviet campaign.

Warren then takes part in the defence of a major Allied scientific centre located in Mykonos, Greece. The Soviets are seeking to seize the research being carried out at the facility in order to develop a new superweapon.

Fuller and Giles Price command the Allied Forces tasked with defending the complex against the Soviet Commander and Zhana Agonskaya.

Warren confronts the invaders head-on, vowing to let them taste the full force of American firepower.

Despite his resistance, the Allied defences are ultimately overwhelmed and the laboratory falls into Soviet hands.

His exact fate following this battle is not explicitly confirmed; the source describes him as presumed dead in this branch of the story.

Imperial Campaign

Warren also appears in the Empire of the Rising Sun campaign.

This time, he commands a large Allied fleet sent to attack the Imperial base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Fuller initially succeeds in establishing a forward position and launches his offensive against the Japanese defences. But the Imperial forces were prepared for the attack and received significant naval reinforcements.

Faced with the Naginata Cruisers, Yari Mini-Submarines and Shogun Battleships, Warren was ultimately forced to abandon his offensive.

True to his provocative nature, he played down his defeat by stating, in essence, that the Japanese could keep Hawaii as he did not particularly like it anyway.

In this branch of the war, Fuller would subsequently have continued to fight the Imperial forces and would ultimately have been killed whilst defending the Allies.

A front-line commander

Warren Fuller stands out from other Allied commanders due to his particularly physical and aggressive nature.

Lissette Hanley has a much lighter and more enthusiastic personality, whilst Giles Price is more the epitome of the professional and experienced British Officer. Warren, on the other hand, represents the veteran American Soldier, who prefers to confront the enemy head-on and gauge a Commander’s worth on the battlefield.

This personality also explains the choice of actor to play him: a former UFC heavyweight and light-heavyweight champion.

He does not return in Red Alert 3: Uprising. The role of the American Commander is then played by Douglas Hill, amongst others.
