Character: ??

Affiliation: Global Liberation Army (GLA)*Rank:* Three-star General*Origin:* South Yemen*Specialism:* Tactics / conventional forces*Nickname:* ‘Tactician’
Status: Non-canon character from Generals 2

General Mahmud ‘Tactician’ Abdul-Muhsi is a former Yemeni Officer who became one of the GLA’s leading Commanders.

For nearly twenty years, Abdul-Muhsi devoted his military career to protecting his native South Yemen from the terrorist threat.

However, he eventually abandoned the cause he had championed and joined the very forces he had once fought against.

Over the following ten years, he put his military experience and knowledge at the service of the GLA, helping to significantly strengthen its capabilities.

This dramatic change of allegiance earned him the nickname ‘ the traitor” by the armed forces of the Arabian Peninsula allied with the Western powers.

Within the GLA, Abdul-Muhsi rose to the rank of three-star General and distinguished himself more through his tactical expertise than through any particular technological specialism.

Nicknamed ‘Tactician’, he was intended to represent the classic GLA General, providing a balanced and versatile army in contrast to the specialised Commanders.

His arsenal thus combined the organisation’s main forces: insurgents, Terrorists, technicals, Quad cannons and Scorpion Tanks, alongside more specialised vehicles.

In particular, he could deploy the Sandstorm, as well as nuclear lorries, toxic Artillery and infiltration vehicles.

His positions could be protected by various defensive systems using toxins, missiles and rockets, whilst a sandstorm could support his operations.

Unlike the other GLA generals, Abdul-Muhsi did not therefore rely on an extreme doctrine, but on a balanced combination of the organisation’s various tactics.

Mahmud Abdul-Muhsi was thus intended to embody the traditional Commander of the new GLA: a former adversary who had mastered his own methods, using his military experience to transform an irregular force into a more organised and versatile army.
