A staunch patriot, she is regularly sent abroad to accompany Chinese forces and provide on-the-ground coverage of military operations from conflict zones.

During the GLA’s latest offensive, Sun Meiying announces China’s return to the forefront of the fight against terrorism, whilst the United States begins to withdraw its forces to strengthen the defence of its territory.

From her office in the Middle East, she then covers operations designed to prevent the GLA from infiltrating China and relays the government’s reassuring statements to the public.

When the GLA attempts to establish a nuclear balance, Meiying announces the European Security Council’s decision to entrust Chinese forces with the mission of liberating occupied European cities.

She then joins the Chinese divisions deployed in Europe and follows their advance against GLA positions.

Her reports present the victories of the People’s Liberation Army as proof of China’s new international role, whilst the United States is now focusing primarily on defending its own borders.

Following the destruction of the GLA’s last significant forces, Meiying reports that several European capitals have expressed their support for Beijing.

She finally reveals that China is proposing the creation of a new political, military and economic alliance with Europe, whilst NATO has lost much of its influence.

Sun Meiying thus serves as thepublic face of the Chinese campaign in Zero Hour, reporting from the front lines on China’s rise as the new dominant power in the fight against the GLA.
