Bronislav

Character: ??

Affiliation: Soviet Union*Rank:* General*Role:* Senior Officer / Soviet Commander*Period:* After Yuri's Revenge
Appearances: Red Alert Mobile, Red Alert iOS
Status: Deceased in the original timeline

General Bronislav is a Soviet officer active during the turbulent period following Yuri’s defeat and the end of the war against the Allies.

A particularly fervent patriot, he harbours a deep hatred for the Allies, whom he regards as imperialists responsible for the humiliation of the Soviet Union.

During the post-war crisis, Bronislav becomes the direct superior of a Soviet Commander, to whom he entrusts several operations essential to the survival of the Soviet Union.

The Soviets then devised a new plan to overturn their defeat: to use time-travel technology to alter the course of history once again.

Bronislav was directly involved in this project and oversaw the protection of several prototypes of time machines.

When the Allies discover the operation, they launch an offensive aimed at destroying the Soviet facilities before the plan can be carried out.

Bronislav personally takes charge of defending one of the prototypes alongside three Soviet bases, whilst ordering the Commander under his command to protect a second machine.

However, the Allied Forces manage to breach his defences and Tanya seizes an Apocalypse Tank during the clash.

At the controls of the Soviet tank, she eventually runs over Bronislav, killing the General before annihilating the last of the forces under his command.

Despite his death, his sacrifice is not entirely in vain: the other time machine prototype is successfully defended.

The Soviets finally manage to activate it and travel back in time, setting in motion the events that lead to the new Third World War.

As this time travel alters history, Bronislav’s fate becomes paradoxical: his death belongs to the timeline that has just been erased.

It is therefore impossible to determine whether he still exists in the new reality or whether he ever held the same position within the Soviet command.

Bronislav thus embodies the former Soviet Union’s final efforts to reverse its defeat: a fiercely anti-Allied General whose death paradoxically helps to bring about the creation of the new timeline of Red Alert 3.
