Status: Unknown.Lewis is a GDI non-commissioned officer serving under Cdr.Michael McNeil during the Second Tiberium War. A supporting character, he primarily acts as a member of McNeil’s support staff and takes part in several operations carried out in Europe against the Brotherhood of Nod.

Alongside Cdr. McNeil

Lewis is one of the Soldiers under Cdr. McNeil’s direct command. In particular, he takes part in the events surrounding the Hammerfest base, a key GDI facility attacked by Kane’s forces.

After the base was captured and the crystals intended for the GDI’s sonic technologies were stolen, Lewis informed Cdr. McNeil that a message from Kane had just been received. In it, the leader of Nod claimed responsibility for the attack and directly taunted the GDI Commander.

Lewis is also involved in delivering much more personal news: it is he who informs Cdr. McNeil of the death of his brother Jake, who was killed during the conflict.

Evacuation of mutants

Lewis also takes part in an operation carried out in Germany to evacuate mutants threatened by the fighting. This intervention shows that he is not limited to liaison duties with Cdr. McNeil but also participates in the GDI’s field operations.

However, there is some discrepancy regarding his rank depending on the source: he is sometimes referred to as a Captain, whilst the official credits for Tiberian Sun identify him as Corporal Lewis. This latter identification is also confirmed by the game’s cast lists.

Role

Lewis remains a secondary character and his personal backstory is scarcely developed. His appearances serve mainly to illustrate the day-to-day workings of the GDI command structure centred on Cdr. McNeil.
