Status: Alive at the time of her last appearance.Kirce James is a GDI intelligence officer who directly assists the Commander during the Third Tiberium War. Professional and exceptionally well-informed, she provides tactical briefings, analyses enemy forces and grants the Commander access to the GDI’s newest units and most powerful weapons.

InOps Officer

Kirce works at GDI Central Command alongside Jack Granger and Sandra Telfair. She primarily acts as a liaison between the high command and the forces engaged on the ground.

Her role encompasses both intelligence on Nod and the assessment of new technologies. As the campaign progresses, she authorises the deployment of new equipment in line with operational requirements.

From the operations in North Carolina onwards, she helps the Commander reactivate an old base, provides reinforcements and eventually grants him access to the Ion Cannon to destroy Nod’s positions.

The War Against Nod

When the Brotherhood launched its global offensive in 2047, Kirce accompanied the Commander throughout much of the GDI’s counter-offensive.

In particular, she plays a key role during the campaigns in Washington, North Africa, Croatia and Sarajevo, providing the intelligence needed to destroy Nod’s facilities.

Her role is primarily operational: unlike Granger and Redmond Boyle, who make the major strategic and political decisions, Kirce focuses on the immediate situation on the battlefield and the resources available to the Commander.

The Scrin Invasion

Following the arrival of the Scrin, Kirce continues to carry out her intelligence duties.

In Munich, she specifically asks the Commander to evacuate the survivors and, above all, the scientists from FutureTech, whose research is considered essential to understanding the new alien threat.

She then plays a part in operations against the Threshold Towers. During the offensive on Rome, she explains that the Scrin Tower is protected by phase generators which must be destroyed before the structure can be attacked.

Kirce thus takes part in GDI operations from the first skirmishes against Nod right through to the final major battles against the alien invaders.

Personality

Kirce James is portrayed as an extremely professional, competent and efficient military officer. Her main strength lies in her ability to quickly obtain crucial intelligence and to provide the Commander with the resources necessary for his missions.

She differs from Sandra Telfair in that her role is more focused on the GDI’s operational and technological capabilities, whereas Telfair’s training is more directly linked to military intelligence and the analysis of Nod’s tactics.
