Status: Unknown.Duquette is a mysterious agent involved in the rescue of Commander Parker shortly before the major events of 2062. His identity, his organisation and his true motives are never revealed. However, his behaviour and, above all, the unusual authority he wields suggest that he works for a particularly powerful organisation.

A mysterious agent

Duquette is characterised by an extremely calm and serious demeanour. He appears to be in complete control of the situation and shows no sign of concern when he intervenes at a highly secure GDI military facility.

Even more surprising is that he appears to have sufficient authority to keep the GDI military police at bay, without needing to openly threaten the Soldiers present. His employer is never identified, although a possible link to Kane cannot be ruled out.

Parker’s Imprisonment

Following his involvement in Louise James’s coup, Commander Parker is arrested and imprisoned in a GDI Supermax facility, located somewhere within the Arctic Circle.

It is in this prison that Duquette makes his appearance.

He manages to reach Parker in his cell and wakes him up. Rather than giving a lengthy explanation of the situation, the agent sets about organising his escape straight away.

The escape

Duquette provides Parker with everything he needs to leave the prison: a GDI uniform, a pistol and an access card enabling him to bypass the security systems.

He then tells him that he has only ten minutes to get out of the facility.

Duquette’s intervention thus enables Parker to regain his freedom and resume an active role in the events surrounding the GDI, Nod and the Tiberium Control Network.

An identity never revealed

Duquette then disappears as mysteriously as he appeared.

No definitive explanation is given regarding his identity or the organisation for which he works. The possibility that he is acting indirectly on behalf of Kane is suggested, but not confirmed.

His access to a GDI prison and his ability to organise the escape of such a high-profile prisoner so easily nevertheless show that he possesses considerable connections or power.
