Status: Unknown Lieutenant Strongarm is a GDI commander who appears in Command & Conquer: Rivals. She is best known as a leader of the GDI Engineers Corps and as a specialist in field defence. Unlike commanders who are more offensively oriented, Strongarm excels at rapidly consolidating a position through the deployment of her Minigun Turret.

GDI Engineering Corps

Strongarm is described as a renowned leader of the Engineering Corps. Her profile therefore fits that of a construction and defence specialist rather than a conventional Commander solely responsible for leading units into battle.

Her personality, however, contrasts with this very serious role: when she is not on an operation, Strongarm is known to enjoy playing pranks on those around her. This detail is one of the few biographical facts explicitly provided about her.

Commander in Rivals

Strongarm is one of the playable GDI commanders in Command & Conquer: Rivals, alongside Dr Liang, Colonel Jackson, General Solomon and, in the later version of the game, Cdr. McNeil.

Each commander in Rivals has a unique ability. Strongarm’s ability directly reflects her experience as an Engineer: she can deploy a temporary Minigun Turret on the battlefield.

Minigun Turret

Strongarm’s turret is a defensive structure equipped with two miniguns. It is primarily designed to combat infantry and light aircraft, allowing GDI-controlled areas to be rapidly fortified.

This ability largely defines Strongarm’s tactical style: rather than directly upgrading a unit or deploying a strategic weapon such as Solomon’s Ion Cannon, it temporarily alters the battlefield by creating a new defensive position.

However, the turret has a limited lifespan and cannot be deployed just anywhere, forcing its Commander to choose its Emplacement carefully.
