Status: Presumed to have followed Kane during his Ascension.Sister Chavra is a follower of the Brotherhood of Nod and one of Kane’s closest associates during the final events of the Tiberium saga. Entirely devoted to the prophet, she serves aboard his command vessel, the Uzziel Stratotransporter, alongside Dr Johann Pascal.

A follower of Kane

Very little is known about Chavra’s early life. The defining feature of her journey is her absolute loyalty to Kane.

When Kane takes the highly controversial decision to cooperate with the GDI to build the Tiberium Control Network (TCN) and save the planet from contamination, a section of Nod rejects his authority. Chavra, on the other hand, never questions his decisions.

This loyalty enables her to join Kane’s inner circle. She ultimately serves alongside him aboard the Uzziel and takes part in his operations against Gideon’s separatists.

Alongside Parker

Chavra’s role varies depending on the choices made by Parker, the Commander.

If Parker chooses to follow Kane and joins Nod, Chavra becomes one of his principal assistants. She passes on intelligence to him and sometimes intervenes directly with her own forces to support his operations.

She also demonstrates the extent of her obedience when Gideon successively assassinates four of the five Carryalls necessary for Kane’s plan.

With Parker now the last Carryall, Kane decides to take every necessary precaution to protect him. He therefore orders Chavra to administer a sedative to him. She carries out the order immediately, without the slightest hesitation.

Whilst Parker remains loyal to the GDI and Colonel Louise James, Chavra, on the other hand, becomes an adversary.

During ‘Stalled Transport’, she attacks the GST Tzadik and helps prevent the GDI transport from taking off again. She then intervenes during ‘For All Mankind’, when Parker attacks Nod positions around the Scrin Threshold 19 Tower.

She commands Nod forces tasked with protecting the facility until the Tower is activated.

However, this difference between the two campaigns does not alter her objective: whichever faction Parker chooses, Chavra remains loyal to Kane until the very end.

The Ascension

During the final confrontation around Threshold 19, forces loyal to Kane seek to protect the TCN long enough to allow the network to activate the Scrin Tower.

Chavra is last seen fighting to defend this operation.

Her fate is not explicitly shown after the Portal is activated. It is, however, assumed that she joins Kane and the other Nod loyalists in the Tower, then leaves Earth with them during the Ascension.

Personality

Chavra is characterised primarily by her unconditional loyalty to Kane. Unlike Gideon and those members of Nod who reject the alliance with the GDI, she accepts the Prophet’s decisions even when they appear to run counter to decades of war between the two organisations.

She thus represents those followers of Nod for whom Kane’s word remains absolute. Whether she must fight the GDI, the separatists or even temporarily neutralise Parker on the Prophet’s orders, she carries out her mission without hesitation.
