Actor: Rick Ginn

Affiliation: Massivesoft / United States*Position:* CEO of Massivesoft Corporation*Net worth:* Trillionaire*Business headquarters:* Seattle, Washington*Status:* Alive Bing, commonly known as Chairman Bing, is a powerful American businessman and the CEO of Massivesoft Corporation, a major IT company based in Seattle.

During the crisis caused by Yuri, Yuri’s forces take control of Seattle and storm the Massivesoft campus.

Yuri seeks, in particular, to exploit the company’s vast financial and technological resources to support his war effort.

His men therefore take control of Massivesoft’s research and development teams and force them to work for him.

Under threat, the Seekers are involved, in particular, in the development of genetic technologies that will ultimately enable Yuri to complete his Genetic Mutator.

To force Bing to cooperate and fund his operations, Yuri also seizes a Soviet nuclear silo and threatens to destroy Seattle with a nuclear strike.

Bing nevertheless manages to establish a satellite link with Allied command and sends out a distress call, reporting that Yuri’s forces have occupied his campus.

The Allies then launch Operation Power Play, aimed at liberating Seattle and neutralising the nuclear silo before Yuri can carry out his threat.

When Allied Forces liberate the Massivesoft campus, Bing thanks his rescuers by making a significant financial contribution to their war effort.

This aid enables the Allies to continue their offensive and destroy Yuri’s facilities in the region.

Despite the liberation of Seattle, the research forced upon the scientists at Massivesoft had already progressed far enough to enable Yuri to subsequently finalise his Genetic Mutator.

Chairman Bing is thus a secondary but memorable character in Yuri's Revenge: a computer magnate whose fortune and technologies momentarily become strategic assets in the war against Yuri.

The character is clearly a parody of Bill Gates: Bing runs Massivesoft, a pastiche of Microsoft, and both companies are based in the Seattle area. The Yuri’s Revenge manual mistakenly refers to him as ‘Bob’. The fact that Microsoft launched its search engine named Bing years later is, however, a mere coincidence.
