Actress: ??

Affiliation: People’s Republic of China*Role:* Secret agent / hacker*Speciality:* Infiltration and electronic warfare*Real identity:* Unknown Black Lotus, or Lotus Noir, is the codename of an elite Chinese agent specialising in espionage, infiltration and computer hacking.

Moving stealthily behind enemy lines, she uses her laptop to take over buildings, disable vehicles’ electronic systems and divert funds from supply centres. She can also detect Shadow Teams.

Unlike the American Colonel Burton or the GLA’s Jarmen Kell, Black Lotus possesses no conventional weapons. Her main protection, therefore, is her stealth, which is temporarily lost when she uses her abilities.

She plays an active role in China’s war against the GLA and becomes one of the key agents deployed in the People’s Liberation Army’s covert operations.

Black Lotus also collaborates with the United States. During an operation in the Russian mountains, she accompanies Colonel Burton to steal intelligence and destroy a GLA research facility specialising in toxins.

Her exact identity, however, remains a mystery. During Operation Broken Alliances, when one Black Lotus is killed, the Chinese command announces the deployment of another Black Lotus operative.

This suggests that Black Lotus may not refer to a single individual, but rather a code name assigned to several highly trained female agents in the service of China.

A variant known as Super Lotus is also employed by General Shin Fai’s forces. Although more proficient in hacking, she constitutes a separate unit associated with her specialisation in infantry.

Despite being unarmed, Black Lotus poses a considerable threat: a single infiltrated agent can paralyse vehicles, divert enemy resources and turn an entire base against its owner without firing a single shot.
