Tanya’s prisoner

After the Battle of Cannes, Sergei falls into Allied hands and is handed over to Tanya for interrogation. She is seeking to uncover the exact emplacement of the Soviet headquarters in Heidelberg, the next target of the Allied offensive.

When the Commander and Eva McKenna contact Tanya, Sergei claims that he would reveal the information if he actually knew it. Tanya does not seem to believe him and continues her interrogation. She then pulls out a knife, immediately prompting the prisoner to beg for mercy, before the transmission is cut off.

The game never shows what happens next and Sergei’s fate remains unknown. It is therefore not possible to say for certain that he is killed by Tanya.

Role

Sergei is neither an Officer nor a prominent figure in the Soviet Union. His role serves mainly to showcase a harsher side of Tanya, who is capable of employing particularly intimidating methods to extract information in the field.
