The evidence is mounting. The Empire of the Rising Sun has within its army a sort of almost invulnerable Commando unit that looks like nothing more than a sullen young teenager returning from school with a disappointing report card. An elite Allied dolphin unit first spotted her whilst patrolling off the coast of Kyushu. Only one survivor returned, visibly shaken, with some recorded and unimaginable information that proves this woman’s destructive power. She possesses combat potential equivalent to that of an entire military battalion, without resorting to any obvious means or weapons. As absurd as it may seem, it is believed that this woman shuns conventional weapons in favour of some sort of psionic powers. The number of military strategists even remotely entertaining this seemingly incongruous theory is rapidly dwindling as news of the Empire of the Rising Sun’s state-of-the-art army continues to spread.

Based on intercepted transmissions from the Empire of the Rising Sun, this woman is known as Yuriko Omega, presumably a codename. Reports on the exact origins of this Yuriko Omega are either highly classified or do not exist. What has been gleaned, however, is that she must be the sole survivor of an intensive programme run by the Shiro Sanatorium, a private paramilitary R&D organisation seeking alternatives to Japan’s growing reliance on High Technology in its military affairs. To say the least, this programme must have dehumanised her; however, the results seem self-evident: Yuriko appears to possess powers best described as monstrous. Her mind has been ‘sharpened’ to such an extent that she can wipe out entire squads at a moment’s notice. Exactly how this power manifests itself, or what effect such powers must have on this woman’s psyche, is currently unknown.

Following an initial encounter with Yuriko Omega, an Allied Commander has since been dismissed for attempting to test her combat capabilities by deploying the majority of an entire regiment of Soldiers, including: ten Peacekeepers, six Javelin Soldiers, four Guardian Tanks, three Cryocopters, two Assault Destroyers and one Drone Carrier. Surprisingly, not a single one of these units returned from the encounter, although it was reported that Yuriko Omega was alone, out of reach of other Imperial forces. Most of the Allied High Command considered this to be some sort of perfectly orchestrated trap. A few insist that Yuriko Omega is solely to blame.

It was no coincidence that Yuriko was encountered alone; there is reason to believe that she is feared even amongst the forces of the Rising Sun. From a certain perspective, this is hardly surprising; for someone apparently so young and yet so powerful, she must surely have suffered incredible psychological or even physical trauma during her upbringing. Make no mistake, however: any pity would almost certainly be wasted on Yuriko Omega, who is closer to a living weapon than to a human being.

We advise the utmost caution when engaging Yuriko Omega, or anyone resembling her. Look for evidence of her psychic abilities, such as levitation, psychokinesis, telepathy, extrasensory perception, psychokinetic blasts, etc.


Reconnaissance on the battlefield has revealed at least the following facts about Yuriko Omega:

• The Power of the Mind– Yuriko does not use conventional powers; for her, her mind is more than enough. She can levitate and bring down even the largest tanks; topple even the most solid structures anchored to the ground; sweep aside any infantry in her path; and bring down even the most resilient aircraft.

-Levitation– As if to demonstrate her psychic ability, Yuriko never seems to resort to normal human means of locomotion. Instead, she hovers about one metre above the ground. As well as being impressive, she can traverse land and sea with equal ease.

-Psychokinetic Blast- In theory, a platoon of trained Soldiers should be capable of overwhelming Yuriko Omega. In practice, Yuriko Omega appears capable of occasionally generating a massive amount of psionic energy in a sort of attack that sends the men hurtling into the void as if they were flying during an incredible explosion.

-Sole Survivor - It is believed that Yuriko Omega is, in fact, the sole member of the Japanese military. Rather than being part of a group – as there appears to be only her – there is no reason to believe that ‘clones’ of her do not exist, given that only a single individual has been located in a given place.
