For this Season 2 premiere, the Soviets invaded EA’s ‘Be The One’ event, held as part of the London Games Festival in Trafalgar Square.

This was the first LIVE broadcast of Season 2 of BattleCast Primetime. The programme was streamed live online and brought together celebrity guests, Red Alert fans and hundreds, if not thousands, of visitors who had come to enter the ‘BattleDome’ to witness a real spectacle. This included live and pre-recorded appearances by some of the game’s cast members, including Gemma Atkinson.

For the very first time, the game also served as the backdrop for a live international challenge pitting Russia’s ‘best C&C player’ against Shaun ‘Apollo ” Clark, the British WCG 2007 champion.

Also on the programme: a special episode of “Command School”, a live interview with James Hannigan, composer of Red Alert 3, as well as plenty of other explosive surprises.
