C&C 4: Tiberian Twilight

Command & Conquer 4 : Le Crépuscule du Tibérium (Tiberian Twilight)

Game Overview

Released in March 2010, Command & Conquer: Tiberium Twilight marks the conclusion of Kane’s story in the Tiberium Saga. The game sparked controversy due to its marked departure from the gameplay system used in all previous Command & Conquer titles.

Universe & Lore

Tiberium threatens to engulf the Earth. Kane proposes an unthinkable alliance to the GDI centred on the Tiberium Control Network. The controversial epilogue to the Tiberium saga, centred on mobile crawlers and classes (Attack, Defence, Support).

In 2062, humanity is on the brink of extinction. Tiberium has rendered the planet virtually uninhabitable. Just as the situation seems hopeless, Kane, the charismatic leader of Nod, re-emerges to explain to the GDI that he has developed a system capable of controlling the spread and power of Tiberium. But he cannot build his “Tiberium Control Network” without the GDI’s cooperation. The two rival factions will therefore have to work together to prevent Tiberium from wiping out all human life.

Fifteen years later, the network is almost complete. Tiberium is under control and our revitalised planet is on the verge of regaining its former splendour. It is only now that its inhabitants are wondering why Kane agreed to save humanity. He will soon provide them with answers in what constitutes the final act of the Tiberium saga.
