C&C 3: Tiberium Wars
Although very poorly trained, these Nod soldiers are very numerous and are equipped with rudimentary machine guns straight out of the 20th century.
Although they are armed with rocket-launchers capable of destroying aircraft and armoured vehicles, rocket-launcher operators are highly vulnerable on the battlefield.
The saboteur can capture enemy structures and instantly repair Nod buildings and bridges. He is also equipped with explosives that can be placed on neutral structures and detonated when enemy forces pass nearby.
Nod fanatics are equipped with volatile explosives that can be detonated in the vicinity of enemy forces. They must be eliminated before they reach their targets.
Extremely well-trained, resilient and loyal, the Black Hand forces are equipped with flamethrowers capable of clearing buildings and incinerating enemy squadrons.
These Shadow Teams can use their stealth capabilities and flying skills to evade enemy defences and enable Nod to strike at its opponent’s weak points. Once behind enemy lines, these Shadow Teams can plant explosive charges on structures.
The Nod Commando is the queen of infantry units. Commandos are equipped with high-rate-of-fire laser weapons and can carry explosive charges as well as portable stealth generators.
The Attack Cycle, which is fast and fitted with an advanced radar system, is an excellent reconnaissance vehicle. Its rockets even make it effective against aircraft.
The buggies are fitted with burst-fire machine guns that can quickly take out infantry and small targets.
The Scorpion Tank is Nod’s shield. Highly manoeuvrable, this tank is equipped with a 105mm gun of considerable firepower and can withstand direct fire thanks to its heavy armour.
The Nod harvesters are fitted with stealth systems. They can therefore go undetected and return the Tiberium to base unhindered.
The Brotherhood’s menacing VCMs can traverse the rough terrain of the battlefield and set up Construction Yards.
This Nod tank is equipped with a twin flamethrower, enabling it to clear out garrisonable structures or destroy entire structures.
Despite its light armour, the Stealth Tank is incredible. It is invisible to most enemy forces, except during Barrage fire with its deadly and accurate rockets.
Although the Beam Cannon is not intended for direct attacks on enemy armour, groups of this unit can quickly inflict considerable damage on enemy structures. They can also power an Obelisk of Light to increase its power and range.
This state-of-the-art armoured vehicle is equipped with miniaturised laser weapons. Avatar Warmechs can boost their immense power by scavenging components from other Nod vehicles (destroying them in the process).
Armed with high-rate-of-fire machine guns, the Venoms are highly effective against enemy aircraft and infantry, and even their vehicles.
The Vertigo Bomber is a stealth heavy bomber, capable of appearing out of nowhere to drop its Groundpounder bombs, leaving enemy defences no time to react.
The Carryall enables most Nod units to be transported to new destinations at high speed and at minimal cost. However, whilst its mobility is good, its armour is somewhat less so.
The Construction Yard, heavily fortified but playing a vital role, is essential to Nod’s war effort. That is why it is so heavily guarded. It also provides radar capability to Nod’s bases.
The Nod Power Plant is capable of generating astronomical amounts of energy from a small quantity of Tiberium, at the expense of the environment.
The Nod refinery can quickly process raw Tiberium into usable material. Each refinery is accompanied by an almost invisible Nod harvester.
The Hand of Nod serves as a base, a supply point and a training ground for the legions of militants and fanatics, as well as for Nod’s elite infantry.
These major facilities are used to build and deploy Nod’s highly specialised vehicles. Nod War Factories also have automated drones that can repair damaged vehicles within their perimeter in the blink of an eye.
The Operations Center houses advanced communication systems that are essential to the Nod’s most valuable assets. It can also deploy technologies such as Radar Jamming Missiles and Cloaking Fields to counter GDI intelligence.
The Secret Shrine of Nod contains the specialised training rituals required to deploy advanced infantry. It can also be used to research upgrades that will enhance Nod’s infantry.
Air towers facilitate air support and aircraft production on behalf of Nod. Each tower can accommodate up to four Vertigo bombers.
Where a Tech Lab is available, the Brotherhood can deploy its most advanced military equipment, as well as its upgrades to fit out even the most basic vehicles.
The Tiberium Chemical Plant enables Nod to deploy Tiberium-based weapons immediately on the battlefield.
Cranes are boosting production capacity at the Nd Construction Yard. One crane doubles the rate at which the Nod structures are produced.
The shredder turrets act like gigantic rifles that mow down enemy infantry who get too close. Although they do not inflict much damage on heavily armoured vehicles, they are formidable against human targets.
Laser turrets transform Nod’s famous Obelisk of Light into a flexible anti-vehicle defence system. A set of three Laser Turrets, controlled by a central defence unit, focuses its beams on armoured targets within range.
SAM turrets fire salvos of missiles at enemy aircraft. A SAM missile isn’t very powerful, so several must be fired at once to bring down a target.
Thanks to the Tiberium Silos, Nod can store as much Tiberium as it needs to mount a decisive military campaign.
Disruption towers generate large stealth fields. Nod buildings, vehicles and infantry within the stealth field are undetectable to the enemy. However, the disruption towers themselves remain visible.
Nod’s laser tower, with its immense destructive power, fires a beam capable of destroying vehicles and infantry squads. Its range and power can be increased by Nod’s new Beam Cannon vehicles.
The Temple of Nod houses not only the launch systems required for a Desolator nuclear strike, but also supercomputers capable of restoring a base to operational status following an EMP attack.
Emissary vehicles are designed to travel to remote areas to establish checkpoints for Nod in preparation for further bases.
The Nod’s Tech Labs enable neighbouring Power Plants to improve their efficiency thanks to the Liquid Tiberium Core.
The Nod’s experienced leaders, the Confessors, boost the effectiveness of certain units (militants, Rocket Soldiers) and carry hallucinogenic grenades that can wreak havoc amongst enemy troops.
This Tiberium elixir boosts the metabolism of infantry (fanatics, militants, Rocket Soldiers) and appears to immunise them against the lethal effects of Tiberium.
Dozer Blades (Scorpion Tank) launch savage attacks on heavy infantry, including GDI Zone Troopers. They can also clear minefields and act as frontal armour.
This portable IEM device (Buggy) can disable vehicles and structures containing electronic components.
The Brotherhood’s Obelisk of Light inspired its scientists, who refined its laser to create a portable version (Buggy, Scorpion, Venom).
The Venom Patrol Craft has been upgraded with this technology, which disables enemy radar systems and creates the illusion that the Venom is a significant force.
The Nod’s research into stealth has led to the development of light-amplification techniques, which create duplicates of their combat forces through a mirror effect.
Nod’s Radar Jamming Missile technology enables the launch of a missile that temporarily disables the enemy’s ability to see what is happening on the battlefield.
Nod’s stealth fields render groups of units invisible to the naked eye. Nod’s most experienced units capitalise on this advantage to launch devastating surprise attacks.
Land Mines dropped by a fast aircraft very quickly cover a large area and become almost impossible to spot with the naked eye.
Stealth strike teams use their gliders to carry out Desolators with incredible speed.
The explosion of this unique long-range missile is even more destructive if there is Tiberium nearby.
Placing liquid Tiberium in the ground accelerates the spread of Tiberium across the terrain and offers a real tactical advantage.
The Nod has discovered a way to vaporise Tiberium. The resulting gas can then be used to manufacture a particularly powerful laser-guided bomb.
The Temples of Nod have backup generators and control systems in place to restore power to the base as soon as possible.
The GDI’s obsession with Tiberium has played into Nod’s hands, allowing it to quietly build up a stockpile of weapons that were highly sought-after in the 20th century: Nuclear Missile Silos.
