As fallen angels, the Archer Maids were eventually accepted into the army and earned a solid reputation by defending Japan against Invader Fighters. They are, above all, formidable anti-aircraft units.

Many Imperial soldiers found guilty of treason or war crimes are executed. But the most experienced are confined within a sort of immense robotic husk: the Steel Ronin suit. Kept in a lethargic state, they are only awakened to help the Empire extricate itself from a very difficult situation.

Whilst Imperial troops were attacking the Soviet Union, their researchers were developing a high-tech military computer equipped with advanced artificial intelligence. In the unlikely event of defeat, it would be possible to activate it. Very few of the Empire’s leaders had heard of the development of the Giga-Fortress, an imposing autonomous armed platform. Even fewer are aware of the destructive potential of its ‘Breath of God’.
