Soviet Union

Soviet Union

C&C: Red Alert 2.5

Units

Conscript

Although poorly trained, the conscript nevertheless displays boundless enthusiasm as a result of the mental conditioning and propaganda to which he has been subjected. He charges headlong into battle with his AK-47, swearing total allegiance to his country.

War Bear

A bear born in captivity and trained in combat and reconnaissance. Many enemies have fallen victim to its serrated claws.

Flak Trooper

Having been released triumphantly after years spent in the gulag, Flak Trooper serves Mother Russia by operating enormous Flak anti-aircraft guns. These are even more effective against ground targets.

Engineer

As part of an elite unit, the Combat Engineer is charged with hacking into computers and thereby capturing enemy and civilian structures.

Tesla Trooper

The enemies of the Soviet Union fear this elite mechanised patriot and his deadly Tesla cannons.

Natasha (available as a solo track only)

A recruit of the Soviet Union’s advanced training programmes, Natasha is a legend of the Soviet Union, capable of turning the tide of battle through the sheer power of her trusty Korshunov rifle and her unyielding cruelty.

Heavy Tank

The ultimate symbol of Soviet might, this monster’s 85 mm smoothbore gun is unstoppable.

Sputnik

A cheaper and smaller Russian version of the VCM, the Sputnik originated from a failed orbital probe project. It is now specialised in deploying forward bases.

Apocalypse

The Soviet ‘Prophet of Death’. This imposing (and slow) tank certainly lives up to its name, with its two 125 mm guns alone.

Kirov

The pride of the Soviet army, this war airship is capable of carrying hundreds of heavy bombs to any target and wiping it off the map.

Mig

A symbol of Russian air power, the MiG Fighter is a high-speed fighter-bomber with a remarkable survival rate, largely thanks to its arsenal of M-type explosive missiles. It has earned a reputation as the master of the skies.

Twinbade

A twin-rotor Attack Helicopter, frequently deployed to eliminate enemy infantry and/or Soviet deserters. Armed with four rocket launchers and two machine guns, it is ideal for this mission.

Buildings

Construction Yard

The glorious Soviet Construction Yard can build numerous structures to consolidate and then expand the Russian armed forces.

Reactor

A key facility at every Soviet base, the Reactor supplies the energy required by all of Mother Russia’s facilities and production operations.

Tiberium Refinery

Tiberium Refineries enable ore to be converted into resources that can be used by all Soviet units.

Barracks

The training programmes in Soviet barracks, which were incredibly rigorous, transformed even the most insignificant serfs and criminals into formidable infantrymen.

Weapons Factory

The assembly lines at the Weapons Factory produce a large number of Soviet-made units.

Laboratory

As the flagship of Russian research, the laboratory enables the development of the Soviet Union’s ultimate weapons and defences, whilst ensuring the glory of its army.

Airfield

Russian pilots dominate the airspace with the powerful air force operating from the airfields.

Tesla Coil

A basic defence system, optimised and equipped with formidable electric weaponry.

Flak Cannon

A basic yet robust anti-aircraft weapon, the Flak Cannon helps to protect Soviet airspace.
