GloboTech Corporation

GloboTech Corporation or GloboTech, see GT, is a multinational super-corporation that made its fortune from Tiberium on Earth. It has become the world’s leading industrial power following the destruction or disappearance of other global corporations. It brings together the last remaining companies on Earth, which merged to form GloboTech Corporation. Its importance and influence are so great that it sells weapons to both sides in the First Tiberium War, whilst refraining from direct involvement in the affairs of others... Unless it is beneficial to business...

Following Nod’s victory over the GDI, GloboTech found itself occupying and administering certain cities still standing in the 21st century (known as the Blue Zone), thanks to its influence or the collapse of global governments. This is made possible by private soldiers recruited directly from the company and properly equipped by it.

During the early stages of what would come to be known as the Second Tiberium War, it joined forces with the GDI’s last remaining force, at the request of one of their final leaders, Andrew Owen (in a desperate attempt to extricate the disgraced organisation from the catastrophic situation in which it found itself). It saw this as a lucrative partnership as well as a potential opportunity to expand its influence and market share in the face of the Brotherhood.

As mentioned earlier, whilst the organisation is first and foremost a (highly) profit-driven enterprise, it remains nonetheless attentive to the state of the world (or at least, what remains of it). To ensure the security of its assets and cities, it has begun to deploy a fully-fledged army. Armed and equipped by its own means, GloboTech has, thanks to its revenues, been able to establish an R&D department on a par with that of the Nod or the GDI. It is thus able to develop state-of-the-art weapons, such as autonomous systems, sonic weapons and even powerful bipedal units. With such firepower in the hands of one of the world’s new superpowers, one would be well advised to think twice before taking on GloboTech.
