Renegade X started out as a mod for Epic Games’ Unreal Tournament 3. Since the release of the UDK – a free video game development kit based on the Unreal Tournament 3 engine – the developers have been working on a stand-alone version. In other words, the Renegade-X mod will become a game in its own right!
The aim of this mod/game is to recreate Command and Conquer: Renegade with its two iconic factions, destructible buildings, vehicles and Tiberium. With the release of the standalone version, the developers have promised a mini-campaign called Renegade-X Black Dawn.
