How to install and run the mod
How do I install a mod?
Go to ‘My Documents’ > ‘Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars’, create a folder called ‘Mods’ and drag the mod folder into it. Each mod will then have its own subfolder, named after the mod, within the Mods folder.
Please note: if you own the game on Steam or have an English version, the folder in My Documents should be called ‘Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars’.
How do you run them?
When you insert the DVD, a window appears with options such as ‘Play’ and ‘General Browser’… Click on ‘General Browser’, go to the ‘Mods’ tab and select the mod.
If you don’t have a DVD, create a shortcut to the game’s executable file, right-click on it and select ‘Properties’. In the ‘Target’ field, add ‘-ui’ (without the quotation marks) at the end. It should look like this: "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars\CNC3.exe" -ui
Then launch the game: an options window will appear. Click on ‘General Browser’, go to the ‘Mods’ tab and select the mod you want.
If you have the game on Steam, right-click on the game > ‘Properties’ > ‘Set launch options’, then type: -ui. Next, launch the game as normal and follow the same procedure (‘General Browser’ > ‘Mods’ tab).
Can I still play the game as normal?
Yes, simply launch the game as normal.
