How to install and run the mod

How do I install a mod?

Go to ‘My Documents’ > ‘Red Alert 3’, create a folder called ‘Mods’ and place the mod folder inside it. On Windows Vista, the procedure is similar.

How do you run them?

Right-click on the Red Alert 3 shortcut and select ‘Properties’. In the ‘Target’ field, add ‘-ui’ (without the quotation marks) at the end, without deleting what is already there, then click ‘OK’ (you only need to do this once).

Then double-click the shortcut: a window will appear. Click ‘Browser’, go to the ‘Mods’ tab, then select the mod you wish to play.

Can I still play the game as normal?

Yes, simply click ‘Play’ in the Red Alert 3 window.
