Game Overview
The CnCSaga anecdote: the official cover art for the Remastered Collection was created by Pierre ‘Tchutch’ Maindron, the founder of CnCSaga. His test cover art, posted on Facebook, caught the eye of Electronic Arts… who commissioned him to create the game’s final cover. It’s come full circle: a long-standing fan has designed the cover for the remaster of the games that founded the community.
The Remastered Collection brings together Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert with their three expansions (The Covert Operations, Counterstrike/The Aftermath), fully remastered in 4K by Petroglyph Games – a studio founded by Westwood veterans – and Lemon Sky Studios.
Features include: instant switching between original and remastered graphics, a soundtrack re-recorded by Frank Klepacki, a jukebox with over 7 hours of music, a map editor, modern multiplayer and previously unreleased archive bonus content. EA has also released the source code for both games as open source (GPL), a first for the series.
