Game Overview
Project Camacho is one of the most mysterious projects in the series’ history: a C&C strategy game developed under a codename, never officially announced by EA, whose existence is known only through leaked concept art and artists’ portfolios. The visuals are reminiscent of the Generals universe.
Camacho is a first-person tactical combat game set in the Generals universe (somewhat like Renegade) which was developed by EALA and cancelled in 2009.
Universe & Lore
Little is known about the story, but judging by the artwork, it was set to take place shortly after the invasion of the United States by the People’s Republic of China. A resistance movement against the occupation would be formed, featuring at least three main characters: Josea, Guts and Bud.
The American resistance is said to have had access to the M1 Abrams tank and the M2 Bradley armoured personnel carrier. One of the missions was to take place in a Chinese military camp.
